The front assist is usually the radar sensor in the centre of the grill. Dirt, flys snow ice etc can cause the sensor is impaired warning. At least it is on my Kodiaq. So I shall repeat what I have said before - when I start the car the first thing I do is to disable lane assist and front assist. I keep a Triumph Stag for when the errant behaviour of the Skoda's software designers really annoys me.
Using a camera, Lane Assist recognises lane markings and helps the driver to keep the car in its lane. Front Assist, which includes the City Emergency Brake and Predictive Pedestrian Protection functions, monitors the area in front of the car while driving in the city, thereby helping to prevent accidents or minimise their consequences.

61 reg. problem with lighting system, all working but bulb warning and bend lighting fault on dash. faults in headlight range module for level sensors and power faults. checked fuses all ok. rosstech recommend changing cornering light module located rear of radio sytem. i ffitted a secondhand NM8u.
