For airport run I would give no more then 5 euros.. taxi will cost between 45-55 euros normally give or take .. Paris, Loire Valley. Taxi G7 now advertises that all of their 5,000 to 7,000 taxis accept credit cards. Most of all taxis will accept credit cards but you might run into difficulties if you do not have a pin and chip card.
If you're in a queue for a taxi, you can always wait for one that does take cards. AFAIK buses take cash or tickets. Metros you need tickets, but you can buy those with a card. Taxis which accept credit cards are not are rare as some might have us think: all of the Taxi G7 taxis accept credit cards as do all of the Taxis Bleus.
